These are the early years for families. Garden Gate offers multiple opportunities for parents to meet one another, from meeting at the gate in the mornings to reading articles and books for discussion. We’ve explored many topics together over the years from how to set healthy boundaries, to the numerous toys our children receive, to the role of technology in our children’s lives.
Teachers send out weekly updates on what the children are experiencing as well as sharing our pedagogical approaches to education.
Additionally, we run several months of parent-teacher conferencing each year to be sure that our work supports parents. Raising children cannot be done alone! So we hope to partner with parents as they begin their journeys.
